Nick Taylor Director
Key to the future success of Greater Manchester Renewables will be the many connections and ongoing relationships forged over many years in business with some of the most recognisable brands and forward thinkers from the UK and further afield. In my early 20s I embarked on a 15 year career in the NHS Nursing in Forensic Psychiatry where I forged long standing friendships still strong today and many of the fondest memories of my working life.
As you can imagine this period was eventful, sometimes stressful but immensely fulfilling. My move into the private sector came out of the Blue and took me by surprise, however I decided to embrace this new challenge and set out using the skills that I’d learned in the NHS, great communication across all disciplines, team work, diligence, attention to detail and the ability to adapt continuously and at pace.
I have subsequently worked with the Fleet/corporate motor industry directly with manufacturers, asset management and funding specialists any many more bright innovative companies in IT, Marketing and construction over the years, both as a client and as a consultant helping them realise changes to aspects of their business.
Great communication and an understanding of what is needed to further develop business, take a completely new direction or even to start from scratch with a new venture. This is key to our approach at GMR, source and work with the best people, adapt quickly and achieve goals.
I work in the front line of Greater Manchester Renewables and I am always happy to discuss new projects with Clients and suppliers alike, Please contact me for an open conversation of your vision.

Colin Ralph Director
Having started out in work as an eager 16 year old, I quickly realised I had an aptitude for business and progressed at pace due to, I believe, a genuine enthusiasm of my profession, constant new challenges and success. After 18 years in work I had attained position as the business principle and become Vice Chairman of the Manufacturer Dealer Council, I think due to my belief that a cohesive team and surrounding yourself with the right people are important in the success of any operation.
I moved into business for myself working with some of the worlds most recognisable brands like ICI, Tate and Lyle and CEGB as a marketing consultant in, amongst other areas, thier energy and engineering divisions, where again great people made for a successful business. My position within my business has always been in finding and managing the very best people, the very best partners, compliance accountability and an attention to the requirements of clients and partners.
I am always delighted to discuss your vision and look forward to being your new partners.

Brian Harvey Customer Success Director
Brian brings over thirty years of experience working in the energy and water industry, both within the industry at companies such as British Gas, and as a supplier of large projects in multiple technology areas. His focus, in recent years, has been in the area of energy efficiency and reduced carbon footprint.
Brian saw his first waste to energy installations in Scandinavia, where they commonly provide electricity generation, district heating and hot water for whole cities. He has been involved with projects using the ‘Internet of Things’ (IOT) to establish the early phases of smart city projects. His knowledge of the energy and water industries is both deep and wide.
He has commercial and technical backgrounds, but his main responsibility at GMR is for ‘Customer Success’. He loves to drive a project through to completion, and to ensure that the anticipated benefits are actually being delivered for the customer.
